Analyst - Product Quality

Role Overview: As an Analyst - Product Quality at McCain Foods India Private Limited in Mehsana, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and control the end quality of finished products to ensure a high-quality service standard is maintained for both consumers and the factory. You will be analyzing materials to ensure high-quality finished products. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure daily quality checks for production lines. - Verify that all finished products comply with the company's specifications. - Take necessary samples as per the quality control (QC) procedure. - Grade all finished products based on QC sampling procedures and record information on relevant physical and electronic documentation. - Conduct adequate testing procedures on individual finished products. - Perform 4-hour sensory evaluations for specified finished products. - Verify the efficiency of the metal detector. - Check packing quality including sealing, barcode, and material weight. - Monitor finished product temperature, length, fry color, sugar end, and defect. - Enter daily sensory scores in electronic documentation. - Communicate any quality changes to the QC and Production Executive. - Pass requisitions for accepted finished goods. - Create hold notes and downgrade products that do not meet specifications. - Generate rejection notes for finished products beyond satisfactory limits. - Maintain cleanliness in the workplace including walls, walkways, floors, and equipment. - Report equipment defects to the Supervisor and perform necessary adjustments for optimal efficiency. - Replace consumable parts as required and follow instructions from the QC Manager or Production Executive. - Ensure safety measures are followed such as securing equipment covers, minimizing loose wires, keeping floors dry, and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Implement and monitor 5S in the finished lab, calibrate instruments in-house, add new procedures and work instructions in QA procedures, and conduct outsourced calibrations for QA instruments. - Input data into the infinity system. Qualifications Required: - Minimum degree in Science or B.Tech. in Food Technology. - Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control Lab. - Age between 23-28 years. - Sound knowledge of lab equipment like Agtron, Fry Master, Moisture Analyzer, and Balance. - Familiarity with basic testing procedures and GMP practices. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database.
