Job Description

Role Overview: As an Analyst - Product Quality at McCain Foods India Private Limited in Mehsana, your main objective is to supervise and control the end quality of finished products. You will ensure that high-quality service standards are maintained for both consumers and the factory by analyzing materials to ensure high-quality finished products. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure daily quality checks for production lines. - Check that all finished products comply with the company's specifications. - Take necessary samples as per the quality control procedure. - Grade all finished products and record information on relevant documentation. - Perform testing procedures on individual finished products. - Conduct 4 hours of sensory evaluation for specified finished products. - Ensure the efficiency of the metal detector. - Check packing quality, including sealing, barcode, and weight. - Monitor finished product temperature, length, fry color, sugar end, and solid content. - Enter daily sensory scores in electronic documentation. - Communicate any changes in quality with the Quality Control (QC) and Production Executive. - Pass requisition for accepted finished goods. - Make hold or rejection notes as necessary for unsatisfactory finished products. - Maintain cleanliness in the workplace, including walls, walkways, floors, and equipment. - Report equipment defects to the Supervisor and perform necessary adjustments. - Replace consumable parts and carry out general maintenance duties. - Ensure safety measures such as secure equipment covers, dry floors, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Implement and monitor 5S in the finished lab. - Calibrate instruments in-house and conduct outsourced calibrations. - Add new procedures, work instructions, and formats in Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. - Feed data into the designated system. Qualifications Required: - Minimum degree in Science/B.Tech in Food Technology. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control Lab. - Sound knowledge of lab equipment and testing procedures. - Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
