Role Overview: As an Analyst in the Corporate Finance-M&A team at Kroll, you will play a crucial role in various engagements by utilizing your expertise in M&A transactions. Your responsibilities will include acting as an M&A specialist within the Global Corporate Finance-M&A team, collaborating with global colleagues throughout the deal life cycle, conducting company, industry, and market/competitor research, supporting the engagement team in tasks such as M&A buyer searches, market analysis, financial modeling, and preparing presentation materials, drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, and management presentations, contributing to newsletters and periodicals, ensuring high-quality client deliverables, tracking news articles, summarizing key information for global counterparts, and assisting in maintaining the data room and coordinating management meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Acting as an M&A specialist within the Global Corporate Finance-M&A team - Collaborating with global colleagues throughout the deal life cycle - Conducting company, industry, and market/competitor research and presenting findings professionally - Supporting the engagement team in tasks such as M&A buyer searches, market analysis, financial modeling, and preparing presentation materials - Drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, and management presentations - Contributing to newsletters and periodicals with timely delivery - Ensuring high-quality client deliverables through meticulous attention to detail - Tracking news articles and summarizing key information for global counterparts - Assisting in maintaining the data room and coordinating management meetings Qualifications Required: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Management - 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in M&A deals is preferred - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple engagements, and adapt to changing assignments - Strong analytical, quantitative, writing, and communication skills - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with comfort in formatting presentations - Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment - Demonstrated leadership skills and personal integrity - Willingness to work long hours and stretch when required About Kroll: Kroll is a global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions with a rich legacy spanning nearly a century.
