About The Role We are looking for a talented lawyer to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of Legal & Compliance team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. The candidate will be a part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects within a dynamic environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail. What You'll Do In this role, you will be required to review key financial, operational, and legal provisions from contracts of underlying renewable projects. You will track the affirmative and negative covenants as well as the obligations of projects under these agreements. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and abstracting the relevant payment terms from various real estate agreements and integrating these terms into the firm’s ERP application. You will be expected to maintain the list and actively track these obligations using the firm’s ERP application, ensuring timely closure by coordinating with various internal and external teams. Furthermore, you will develop and implement templates and dashboards to track these items and create periodic reports for senior management. It will be important to develop relevant training materials and conduct training sessions on the project management and compliance modules of the ERP. You will also be required to source and manage key project contracts, reports, and various project-related documents throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing these documents for completeness.
