Analyst, Global GBS - Supply Planning

The role involves being responsible for production planning and finite scheduling in collaboration with the plant team to ensure efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives. Managing Finished Goods (FG) inventory, identifying risks, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCAs), and ensuring a CFR of 98% or higher are key responsibilities. It is crucial to communicate and collaborate effectively with various teams including Business Unit (BU), Plant, Demand Planning, and Logistics to address supply chain issues and achieve desired outcomes. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction ideas, and optimizing supply chain costs are essential. Additionally, managing product listing, delisting, and withdrawal processes in coordination with Marketing to minimize write-offs is required. Promptly addressing high-priority issues and taking ownership of their resolution is also part of the role. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of supply chain and business operations, excellent communication skills, and effective stakeholder management abilities. A proactive approach, a willingness to learn, and a focus on continuous improvement are important competencies for this role. Embodying the cultural values of the organization, such as consumer obsession, ownership, merit-based decisions, continuous improvement, and inclusivity, is crucial. Previous experience in supply chain management, particularly in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, and working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are preferred qualifications. For this position, an MBA with 1-2 years of supply chain experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies is desirable. Alternatively, candidates without an MBA should have 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management within Consumer Industries. The location for this role is Ahmedabad at Venus Stratum GCC.,
