Job Description

As an Analyst in Fund Accounting & Operations within Oaktree's Shared Services team, your role involves centralizing and streamlining fund data across all fund accounting teams. You will collaborate with various sub-departments to deliver standardized fund data, emphasizing strong communication and collaboration skills for success. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with the Shared Services team and sub-departments to communicate fund data across the organization and address internal and external stakeholders" questions and requests effectively. - Aggregating, providing, and analyzing fund level data for corporate accounting, finance, and other departments within Oaktree, ensuring accurate and timely data transmission. - Supporting the Internal Controls Group in fund SOX/SOC-1 control testing by providing timely responses to testing requests. - Assisting in the auditor independence process and financial statement audits, particularly for Luxembourg and Japan audits, by providing relevant support and enhancing processes. - Participating in ad hoc projects and analysis as required. Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, with a preference for public accounting background. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of closed-end private investment funds. - Strong judgment, analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively under tight time constraints. - Experience with SOX and/or SOC-1 compliance audits is advantageous. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
