Job Description

As an Analyst in Fund Accounting & Operations at Oaktree, you will be a part of the Shared Services team responsible for centralizing and streamlining fund data. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to deliver standardized fund data, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure success. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Shared Services team and other sub-departments to communicate fund data across the organization and serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. - Aggregate, provide, and analyze fund level data to corporate accounting, finance departments, and Oaktree's parent company, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. - Support the Internal Controls Group for fund SOX/SOC-1 control testing by providing necessary responses and timely support. - Assist in the auditor independence process and financial statement audits, contributing to process enhancement and effective communication with auditors and fund accountants. - Participate in ad hoc projects and analysis as required. Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or audit experience; public accounting background preferred. - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). - Knowledge of closed-end private investment funds. - Strong judgment, analytical skills, and ability to communicate, analyze, and escalate issues under tight time constraints. - Experience with SOX and/or SOC-1 compliance audits is advantageous. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
