Job Description

As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team at DESRI India Private Limited in Hyderabad, India, you will be instrumental in supporting DESRI's wind, solar, and storage projects through the quarterly valuation of renewable energy projects in the U.S. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, developing valuation models, analyzing key metrics, and presenting forecasts and analyses to management and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Engage in Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A) initiatives with a focus on quarterly valuation of renewable energy projects - Calculate Net Asset Values (NAVs) at various project lifecycle stages and provide quarterly valuation reports - Collaborate with internal teams to collect necessary assumptions and data for valuation models - Develop and enhance complex valuation models utilizing the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method - Determine key metrics such as Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and profitability for project assessment - Generate detailed NAV forecast packages for the upcoming quarter and full year - Prepare EBITDA back tests, forecasts, Value Over Time analyses, management and investor reporting slides, and other related analyses - Maintain regular communication with U.S. counterparts, conduct quarterly management presentations, and create impactful reports for stakeholders Qualifications: - Possess a minimum of one to three years of experience in valuations, financial analytics, and/or equity research, preferably within energy, real estate, or financial services sectors - Advantageous to hold an MBA, CFA, CA, or similar certifications, particularly with a background in renewable energy - Proficient in constructing and reviewing complex financial models in MS Excel, with a solid grasp of the DCF method - Thorough understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and financial analysis principles - Strong analytical skills, effective communication, organizational proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail - Familiarity with Alteryx, VBA, Python, and other data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred - Capable of efficient collaboration with teams spanning different time zones and jurisdictions - Demonstrated project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively - Fluency in English and outstanding presentation skills are vital for this role As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team at DESRI India Private Limited in Hyderabad, India, you will be instrumental in supporting DESRI's wind, solar, and storage projects through the quarterly valuation of renewable energy projects in the U.S. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, developing valuation models, analyzing key metrics, and presenting forecasts and analyses to management and stakeholders.
