Analyst Financial Modeling

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain dynamic financial models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze financial data and generate insights to support investment decisions, business planning, and performance evaluation.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate financial findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate model assumptions.
• Evaluate financial statements, industry trends, and economic conditions to support strategic initiatives.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various scenarios on financial performance.
• Assist in mergers acquisitions (M A) analysis, project finance, and other corporate finance activities.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial models through quality checks and process improvements.

Skills:

• Experience in sectors such as Energy, infrastructure etc.
• Knowledge of financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with coding languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and model automation is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field. A relevant certification (CFA, CPA, CA) is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, corporate finance, or consulting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, VBA/macros are a plus) and financial modeling best practices.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods (DCF, comparables, etc.), and corporate finance principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to present complex financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
