Analyst Controllership IND

As an Accounting Specialist at Ameriprise India LLP, you will be responsible for performing Accounting, Reconciliation, and Reporting functions for various specialized accounting processes such as Inter company, Fixed Assets, Software Capitalization, Fee Billing, Real Estate Accounting, Allocations, etc. Your primary goal will be to accurately and timely meet all internal and external service level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities: - Perform the reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts - Create accounting/journal entries based on supports/bank statements and generate reports related to Accounting and Reconciliation processes - Regularly update control trackers, prepare scorecards and metrics to ensure control and timelines - Participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives and support cross trainings and backup creation - Maintain close contact with customer business partners, technologies, and other interface groups - Be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment Required Qualifications: - Accounting qualification with 1-3 years of accounting experience (R2R) - Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Good communication skills (both verbal and written) - Proficiency with current desktop tools, specifically MS Excel - Ability to influence, build, and maintain strong working relationships with business partners - Reliable and proactive approach towards business goals - Accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Workday accounting system - Ability to analyze processes and suggest improvements - Good organizational skills including time management and process documentation - Application of root cause analysis to identify critical operational and financial problems and proactively resolve them - Advanced Excel and Access skills - Understanding of end-to-end process flows, systems, controls, and impacts About Our Company: Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years, helping clients plan and achieve their financial objectives.
