SOC Analyst


📋 Role Overview:

  • Position:

    SOC Analyst (L2 level preferred)

  • Type:

    Contract (1 year / extendable)

  • Location:

    Hybrid/Remote

  • Shift:

    UK Timing (Approx. 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST)

  • Experience:

    3–4 Years


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Real-time Monitoring:

    Analyze and triage alerts from SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and EDR platforms.

  • Incident Response:

    Lead initial investigations of security incidents, phishing attempts, and malware alerts.

  • Threat Hunting:

    Proactively search for indicators of compromise (IoCs) based on threat intelligence.

  • Reporting:

    Document security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and generate shift reports.


✅ Must-Have Skills:

  • Deep understanding of

    Windows/Linux internals

    and

    Network Protocols

    (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows/Linux internals, and network protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Crucial for UK client interaction).


🎓 Qualifications & Education:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).


💻 Work Setup:

  • Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
