Analyst - CCO Finance Assurance

As an Analyst - CCO Finance Assurance at Barclays, your core responsibility will be to execute design assessment and operating effectiveness testing of controls in accordance with testing plans. Your role involves ensuring alignment with relevant policies, procedures, and quality standards to provide assurance to Management. This will involve confirming that the processes and controls within the reviewed Business Unit are effectively designed and operating to mitigate identified risks. Key Responsibilities: - Execute design assessment and operating effectiveness testing of controls according to testing plans - Ensure alignment with relevant policies, procedures, and quality standards - Provide assurance to Management on the effectiveness of processes and controls within the Business Unit Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant with articleship experience in a reputed firm or MBA Finance with relevant work experience - Understanding of SOx and Risk Management practices, including Internal Audit - Ability to communicate internal control concepts clearly in a business context - Proficient in interpreting, analyzing, and deriving logical conclusions on data patterns - Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders As an Analyst, you are expected to collaborate across the bank to maintain a robust control environment through ad-hoc assessments and testing. You will develop detailed test plans and procedures, communicate key findings to stakeholders, and contribute to the development of a knowledge center for control assessments. In this role, you will partner with the bank to provide independent assurance on control processes and advise on improvements for the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal controls framework. You will collaborate with other control professionals to resolve complex issues and ensure consistent testing methodologies.
