Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AML Operations Associate to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AML, KYC, or Client Due Diligence within a financial institution or regulated environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform anti-money laundering (AML), combating the financing of terrorism (CFT), and know-your-client (KYC) activities including client due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), ongoing name screening, periodic CDD reviews, and transaction monitoring for potential suspicious activities.
Prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where required, ensuring timely escalation and documentation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Client Success team, to address AML/KYC-related queries and support client onboarding and review processes.
Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and training materials.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks, projects, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AML, KYC, or Client Due Diligence within a financial institution or regulated environment.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Independent, task-oriented, and enjoys autonomy in day-to-day tasks.
Meticulous with great attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
