AML Operations Associate

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager in Singapore, you will work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure the maintenance of Syfes obligations as a licensed entity.

Location: Gurgaon

What You ll Do

• Perform anti-money laundering (AML), combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) and know-your-client (KYC) activities including Client Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), ongoing name screening, periodic CDD reviews, and transaction monitoring for potential suspicious activities.

• Prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where required, ensuring timely escalation and documentation.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Client Success team, to address AML/KYC-related queries and support client onboarding and review processes.

• Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and training materials.

• Assist with ad-hoc tasks, projects, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

What We re Looking For

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AML, KYC, or Client Due Diligence within a financial institution or regulated environment with MAS and/or SFC licensed firms.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Independent, task-oriented and enjoys autonomy in day-to-day tasks.

• Meticulous and has great attention to detail.
