AM/DM - Instrument Panel and Console Area

You will be responsible for designing and developing dashboard, console automotive parts, automotive interiors, decorative parts, and soft touch interior parts using various technologies. Your tasks will include conducting CAE analysis of interior parts stiffness, performing parts and vehicle level testing, and ensuring compliance with regulations such as interior fitting ECE -R21. Your key responsibilities will involve designing and developing dashboard, console automotive parts, and interior decorative parts as per the program schedule. You will also be responsible for monitoring cost and weight at the part and sub-system level, planning countermeasures based on design and quality reviews, line feedback, and testing, and coordinating with business partners for part development. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in design or development related to dashboard (I/P) parts, interior decorative parts, or console parts. Additionally, you should possess an understanding of manufacturing processes and costing functions, hands-on experience in testing at the part and vehicle level, and expertise in CAD modeling software, preferably Unigraphics. In terms of behavioral competencies, you are expected to have a positive attitude, be proactive, work effectively in a team, communicate well, possess analytical and presentation skills, and stay updated on global and domestic industry trends to apply them in your work. You should hold a full-time B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks throughout your education.,
