Your responsibilities will include designing HVAC system parts according to the program schedule, laying out parts related to HVAC systems in cabin and engine rooms, and conducting spec understanding, testing, and evaluation. You will also be involved in vehicle-level evaluations, coordinating with business partners for part development, and analyzing quality issues arising from production and the market. To excel in this role, you must possess experience in designing or developing HVAC system parts for ICE, EVs, or both. Knowledge of heat load and thermal load calculations for HVAC systems, the ability to analyze and initiate countermeasures for quality issues, hands-on experience in 3D modeling and 2D drawing, and an understanding of manufacturing processes and costing functions are essential. You should also be proficient in testing at both part and vehicle levels and have specific expertise in HVAC systems design and development with automotive OEMs. Furthermore, familiarity with CAD modeling software, particularly Unigraphics, will be advantageous in executing your tasks effectively.
