AM/DM Clutch & Release System

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating clutch and clutch release systems for automobiles. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop automotive transmission clutch and release systems - Vehicle layout design of clutch, clutch cables & pipes, and other clutch release system components (both manual and hydraulic) - Conduct evaluation at clutch part level and vehicle level for performance and NVH tuning - Analyze market problems/failures related to clutch & clutch release systems, including their detrimental effects on vehicle performance Qualification Required: - Proficiency in CAD and Drafting, preferably Uni-graphics - Knowledge of Project management system/Engg. BOM system - Understanding of clutch & release system specification design based on vehicle requirements - Familiarity with clutch NVH filtration & interpretation of NVH data - Working knowledge of other damping solutions like Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) and Hybrid dampers - Experience with Wet clutches for Hybrid applications - Thorough understanding of DFMEA/Root cause analysis and other designing/analysis tools - Knowledge of manual transmission sub-systems including gearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh system, clutch cable, gear shift lever assembly for holistic Clutch & release system spec design - Understanding of Engine system to comprehend requirements for Clutch spec design Additional Details: The job description template reference is ERDTM/EN-52C/AM-DM.
