AM/DM - Automatic Gear Shift Transmission Actuator

As a Design Engineer for AGS Unit, your role will involve designing, developing, and evaluating AGS Unit components. You will be responsible for lay-outing and packaging of AGS Unit in the vehicle, conducting bench-level evaluations, and analyzing market problems or failures related to the AGS Unit. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing AGS Unit components - Lay-outing and packaging of AGS Unit in the vehicle - Conducting bench-level evaluations of AGS Unit - Analyzing market problems or failures related to AGS Unit Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in CAD, preferably Uni-graphics - Designer CAE and analysis proficiency, preferably Uni-graphics - Knowledge of Project management system and Engineering BOM system - Knowledge of automotive hydraulic systems - Understanding of tolerance stack-up analysis, DFMEA, root cause analysis, FTA, etc. - Understanding of manual transmission sub-systems such as gearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh system, and clutch - Working knowledge of Engine system In addition, you should possess the following behavioral competencies: - Good planning, monitoring, and tracking skills to ensure timely completion of development milestones with organization and suppliers - Strong documentation and knowledge management skills - Self-motivated, flexible, and a team player - Evidence of strong networking skills - Good communication and presentation skills, with an initiative-driven approach Specific expertise required for the functional area includes: - Preferable work experience in an OEM - Work experience in Automotive Hydraulic System design, development, or application engineering Please note that this role requires a combination of technical proficiency, project management skills, and behavioral competencies to excel in the design, development, and evaluation of AGS Unit components.,
