Job Description

You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of Machining parts (OTIF) and coordinating with various teams such as PPC, Production, Stores, and Purchase to ensure availability of input materials on time. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing cost reduction strategies for Machining parts - Daily coordination with PPC/Production to prioritize supplies based on requirements - Implementing KANBAN System with suppliers for Machining parts - Collaborating with Incoming Quality and Supplier Quality teams to address quality issues and defects - Ensuring availability of make-to-stock parts as per defined norms - Timely handling of Incoming parts Rejection/Rework - Conducting costing of Machining parts and negotiating with suppliers Your qualifications and skills should include: - Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement - Ability to influence stakeholders effectively - Proficiency in numbers and analytical skills - Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills - Proficiency in SAP and MS Office - Negotiation skills This role is based in Coimbatore and requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience.
