Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of 4-5 executives across various functions, including procurement for core products. - Coordinate with vendors on production scheduling, dispatch scheduling, and raw material availability. - Collaborate with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Operations teams to execute the supply plan efficiently. - Oversee the procurement process by placing purchase orders, scheduling deliveries, and establishing quality control norms for vendors. - Monitor raw material prices for key products to facilitate informed negotiations with suppliers. - Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors to drive strategic procurement decisions. - Lead the sourcing process for new products, including vendor identification, initial profiling, and documentation management. - Handle all ad hoc vendor-related requirements, such as agreement renewals and licensing. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in the FMCG sector. - Proficiency in managing external stakeholders, with some exposure to interactions with manufacturers. - Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Ability to quickly adapt and contribute effectively from day one. - Experience in team management, overseeing 2-3 executives.
