Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To assist in developing strategy to make spares parts from outside vendors to reduce maintenance costs for all units.
To assist negotiating & finalizing AMC with vendors for DG sets, boilers and other such machineries at group level.

Cost Control

To play an active role in purchase of machinery in collaboration with Central Purchase department.
To ensure power & fuel cost control and adherence to per pair cost as per AOP.

To review repair & maintenance cost control and adherence to cost as per AOP / Standards.

To look after compliance of all statutory requirements pertaining to Maintenance & Machines.

To finalize of specs of all major capital production machinery in consultation of Plant Head and GM Maintenance .

Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance

To undertake audit and ensure availability of standard checklist and machine's Operating parameters on all critical machines.
To prepare and monitor adherence of preventive maintenance schedule across RFLs
To undertake machines uptime improvement of respective plant.

To undertake annual preventive maintenance (Boiler / STP / ETP / Water Treatment plant etc.)

Preferred candidate profile

The incumbent must be BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical with experience in maintenance of plant & machinery of a manufacturing unit.
