Job Description

An AI Engineer Intern supports the development and implementation of AI models and systems, often working with experienced AI engineers and data scientists. Responsibilities include assisting in building, training, and fine-tuning AI models, developing and testing AI pipelines, integrating AI into applications, and maintaining data quality. Interns also participate in model evaluation, performance monitoring, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities of Intern AI/ Data analyst/ Data scientist

Collect, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources, including public and adverse media, to support risk and compliance related activities.
Assist in identifying, aggregating, and maintaining global data sources for screening purposes.
Conduct name screening against adverse media and other public datasets, and support the classification of results into categories such as financial crime, regulatory action, and reputational risk.
Assist in building and testing AI/ML models for compliance applications.
Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs, customer trends, and financial performance.
Use tools like Python, SQL, and Excel to manipulate data and generate insights.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to support data-driven decisions.
Document data processes, analysis workflows, and model performance metrics.
Explore and experiment with emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

1+ year of experience analyzing , processing, and managing datasets to improve the quality of AI training models
Proficient in Python (PyTorch, pandas, scikit-learn), SQL, MATLAB, and LaTeX; experienced in R, Java, and OpenAI Gym.
Experience in applied mathematics, including numerical methods, PDEs, and statistical modeling, gained through coursework and projects.
Experience in applying machine learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning to solve real-world problems. Developed stock trading models using Python, OpenAI Gym, and natural language processing

Qualification

Any Bachelors Degree
Internship/Training Experience in AIML/Data Science from a Software Learning Institution
