AI/ML Engineer [India Remote]

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable infrastructure, including microservices and a backend with models for classification, regression, NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems, depending on business needs.
• Collaborate with fellow data scientists/SW engineers to build out other parts of the infrastructure, effectively communicating your needs, understanding theirs, and addressing external and internal shareholder product challenges.
• Lead research and development efforts to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve backend development processes.
• Experiment with ML models in Python/C++ using machine learning libraries (Pytorch, ONNX, TensorRT, Triton, TensorFlow, Jax), etc.
• Leverage Cloud technology – Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar technology.
• Model deployment / model monitoring experience is desirable.
• CI/CD pipeline creation is good to have.
• B.Tech from Tier-1 college / M.S or M. Tech is preferred

• Flexible and adaptive to updated priorities and changing workflows; willing to support multiple parallel projects and accept reprioritization as necessary
• Eager to learn; proactively asks questions to grasp the ‘why’ behind both processes and technical rules/requirements regarding data assignment, clean-up and movement

• Merchandise expertise in the categories of Fashion, Home and Beauty, specifically
• A love for both the retail industry as well as emerging and modern technology
• Prior experience with data labeling and annotation
