AI/ML Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our SmartCare ID team and build healthcare-focused predictive and explainable AI models. You will work on real-world clinical and wellness data, including lab reports, vitals, EMR, and ABHA-linked data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning models for risk prediction (e.g., diabetes, cardiac, lifestyle diseases)
• Build NLP pipelines for lab report summarization and health chatbots
• Work with time-series and structured/unstructured health data
• Deploy models using FastAPI or RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with frontend/backend teams for integration
• Ensure model performance, explainability, and accuracy

Requirements:

• 2+ years in ML/NLP using Python (scikit-learn, XGBoost, spaCy, Transformers)
• Experience with healthcare datasets is a plus
• Strong in data preprocessing, model tuning, and evaluation
• Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, and cloud deployment
• Passion for healthcare innovation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
