AI Research Engineer (Trainee/Entry-Level)

As an AI Research Engineer (Trainee) at Xtec Global, you will be part of a team dedicated to building intelligent, efficient, and scalable systems that drive AI innovation. Your role involves collaborating with Project Managers to understand product requirements, researching and evaluating AI tools and frameworks, and designing new AI-driven features. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Work closely with Project Managers to understand product requirements and contribute to planning and development strategies. - Research and evaluate AI tools, APIs, and frameworks such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Claude, Gemini, and Vertex AI. Recommend the most suitable options for team use. - Share research findings with the development team and provide guidance on effective tool implementation. - Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to design, prototype, and test new AI-driven features. - Evaluate and fine-tune AI models for performance, reliability, and practical use in code generation and analysis. - Integrate and test AI components within existing product infrastructure in collaboration with product and engineering teams. - Track and analyze AI trends, adapt state-of-the-art public research into working prototypes, and contribute to the internal R&D knowledge base. - Continuously propose innovative applications of AI to enhance development workflows and reduce manual effort. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field. - Strong analytical thinking and a passion for solving complex problems. - Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze, summarize, and present findings clearly. - Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate, mentor peers, and communicate ideas effectively. - A fast learner who keeps up with the latest advancements in AI and technology.
