The AI Research Assistant will support ongoing interdisciplinary projects at the School of AI by assisting in data collection, data validation, and basic data analysis across clinical, academic, and applied AI initiatives, in close collaboration with faculty, researchers, and clinicians at Amrita Hospital Faridabad.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and organize structured and unstructured data from: hospital workflows (clinical, operational, research datasets) classrooms, labs, and field studies
Perform data cleaning, annotation, validation, and quality checks Assist in basic statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA) Support documentation of datasets, metadata, and study protocols Coordinate with project investigators to ensure ethical and compliant data handling Help prepare summaries, tables, and preliminary reports for research projects
Desired Background Undergraduate / postgraduate student or early-career professional in: AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields Familiarity with: spreadsheets, Python/R (basic level), data visualization tools handling sensitive data with confidentiality and care Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in hospital–academia environments
Learning & Exposure Hands-on experience with real-world healthcare and education datasets Exposure to AI-for-healthcare and AI-for-education research projects Mentorship from faculty and clinicians on translational AI applications Engagement Type: full-time / project-based (depending on project needs
