AI Product Design Intern

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and user-focused Product Design Intern to join our team and help shape the future of AI products. In this role, you'll work on designing intuitive, accessible experiences hat make complex AI capabilities simple and delightful for users. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate ideas into compelling prototypes and final designs.

What you're expected to do?

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points with AI products

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and other design tools

• Design user interfaces and user experiences that make AI features intuitive and accessible to diverse users

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation

• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and testing results

• Contribute to and maintain design systems and component libraries

• Research competitor products and design trends in AI/SaaS industry

• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Create design specifications and handoff documentation for engineers

• Present design work and insights to stakeholders and gather feedback

Who makes you the right fit?

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, visual design skills, and user-centered design principles

• Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools (Sketch)

• Understanding of responsive design, web and mobile design best practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Curiosity about AI/ML concepts and emerging technologies

• Portfolio link or examples of past design work required
