Are you fascinated by the intersection of filmmaking and artificial intelligence? Do you believe the next blockbuster could be prompted, not just shot?

Canary AI Studios is looking for passionate and creative AI Film Production Interns to join our team. This is not a typical internship. You will be a hands-on contributor in a groundbreaking field, helping us establish the workflows and creative processes for AI-native filmmaking.

You will play a direct role in our first major project: producing a psychological thriller short film, using a suite of advanced generative AI tools. This is a unique opportunity to build a portfolio that places you at the very edge of the entertainment industry's next evolution.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the AI Creative Director to translate script scenes into visual and auditory concepts.
• Craft and refine detailed text prompts for leading AI image and video generation platforms (like Canary Digital tool Fable AI, Midjourney, Google VEO, Runway, and Pika).
• Generate key assets for our film projects, including concept art, character designs, storyboards, and final video clips.
• Assist the AI Integration Editor in organizing, cataloging, and assembling generated footage into a cohesive narrative.
• Experiment with AI audio tools (like Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs and Canary Digital in house tool) to create voiceovers, sound effects, and musical scores.
• Research and present findings on new AI tools and techniques that can enhance our creative pipeline.

Who You Are:

• You have a deep passion for both cinema and technology, with a strong desire to explore how they intersect.
• You are an active user of one or more generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway) and can showcase your creations.
• You possess a fundamental understanding of filmmaking principles, including composition, lighting, pacing, and storytelling.
• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in an experimental, fast-paced environment.
• You are an excellent communicator, able to articulate creative ideas and technical concepts.
• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Animation, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with video editing software (especially DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Skills in graphic design or digital art (Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
• A portfolio that includes short videos, animations, or a strong collection of AI-generated art.
