AI Evangelist

Role Overview: As an AI Evangelist & Enablement Lead at Amdocs, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of Agentic and Generative AI across engineering and product teams. Your responsibilities will include partnering with teams to integrate AI tools, leading the evaluation and integration of new AI platforms, creating educational content, and representing Amdocs at industry events, all with the aim of shaping the future of digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with engineering and product development teams to integrate and optimize AI/GenAI tools throughout the software delivery lifecycle. - Define best practices and standardized workflows for AI-assisted development, fostering a culture of innovation and responsible AI adoption. - Lead the evaluation, piloting, and integration of new AI development platforms, building proof-of-concept projects to showcase emerging technologies. - Create and deliver workshops, tech talks, and tutorials on topics like prompt engineering and integrating LLMs into production workflows. - Represent Amdocs as a technical expert at industry conferences, customer events, and developer communities, showcasing innovative AI use in the telecom and enterprise domains. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and conversational AI tools for development. - Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software development practices. - Proven ability to drive technology adoption and influence engineering culture without formal authority. - Prior experience in Developer Advocacy, Technical Evangelism, or platform/tool enablement roles is a plus.
