Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Data Engineer with a strong foundation in SQL and hands-on expertise in Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks, operating within Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to AI/ML technologies and be capable of integrating intelligent solutions into modern data platforms. This role is critical in building scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries across Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks platforms.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes in Azure.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models into data workflows and production environments.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across cloud and hybrid data platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in data systems and pipelines.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery using Azure Data Factory, Databricks notebooks, and other tools.
• Document data architecture, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows and integration into data platforms.
• Experience with Spark (via Databricks) for large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or Scala for data engineering and AI integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code in Azure.
• Certifications in Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
