About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and curious AI developer with hands-on experience building agentic applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) — specifically with frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph. You’ll join our core team at Xpert, a consumer intelligence platform that helps brands make smarter decisions around marketing, retail expansion, and growth — using purchase data from millions of real buyers across India.

Your job will be to help us build an intelligent LLM-powered Agent that acts as a co-pilot for brands — guiding them on where to open stores, how to optimize ad budgets, and how to better understand their omnichannel consumers.

This role is ideal for a developer who may not have extensive job experience but has a strong portfolio of LLM-based agents, tools, or workflows they’ve built — either independently or as part of a hackathon, open-source project, or startup.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on agentic applications using LLMs with LangChain or LangGraph
• Ingest and process proprietary datasets (consumer purchase data) to generate dynamic, brand-specific insights
• Collaborate with our product and data science team to structure meaningful decision paths for the agent
• Optimize performance, reduce hallucinations, and improve reliability of the agent in real-world decision-making
• Stay current with advancements in LLM tooling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent coordination

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building LLM agents using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks (GitHub links or project demos required)
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures, RAG pipelines, memory management, and tool use
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with APIs, vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate), and embeddings
• Ability to quickly prototype and iterate based on user feedback
• Passion for turning AI into real-world tools that solve business problems

Bonus (Good to Have)

• Experience with agents that simulate decision-making, task planning, or interactive workflows
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models like Llama or Mistral
• Exposure to sales or marketing data or experience working in a startup environment
• Contributions to open-source LLM or agentic projects
