Job Purpose

1. To plan, coordinate and carry out the preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance, yearly big events and Capital expenditure projects in following machines
- Litho Line. - Litho line Cranes 1 & 2 - ETP. - Scantron Machine. 2. Keeps the HOD and POET leader informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the section in charge s knowledge or authority. 3. Identifies recommendations and or areas for improvements / upgradation through interactions with vendors, colleagues, interplants based on improved system capabilities or obsolescence. 4. Works in sync with mantenance planner for optimization of resources and improvement of reliability key indicators. 5. Devlops revisits SOPS/SMPS required for preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, and training of members.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job Context:
The role of the Section in-charge Litho line is to improve equipment safety, reliability and product quality, by planning timely - preventive and predictive maintenance, - Guide team and resolve breakdown quickly. - eliminating delays by RCA and initiating corrections. - anticipating potential delays and plan activities and corrections accordingly. - rigorous job planning, in coordination with planner and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. Job Challenges: 1. Steering the maintenance activities of area under control with limited resources and within minimum available time. Optimize the shutdown durations by planning and close coordination with planning, Mechanical and production teams 2. Developing specifications of equipment for procurement of spares and upgrade as many old specifications are not available or vendors does not exist. 3. Improve the reliability KPIs like machine utilization, MTTR, MTBF etc. beyond the assigned targets in view of old equipment s. 4. To identify and eliminate the problems resulting into quality deviations as per requirements of the POET. 5. Keep the repair and maintenance costs within the budget by proper utilization of resources like spares, manpower utilized, contractor manpower etc. 6. Ensure that, all critical spares are identified and available in ready to be used condition. Development of 100% spares with available R & M budget. Seek help from HOD in case any help is required. 7. Ensure that power consumption in the section kept under the targets by taking actions suggested in PM, energy saving projects etc.

Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Safety compliance during job work. Preparation of proper work permits like General work permit, Height Work, Hot Work etc. with risk assessment, toolbox talks, LOTOTO and usage of PPE in place. Contractor training on safety compliances. Implement measures for risk mitigation. KRA2 Proper planning for preventive maintenance and shutdown job Ensure timely co-ordination with maintenance planning, production, and mechanical team to utilize machine shutdown properly to improve machine reliability with complying all job from reliability maintenance, safety, quality, and capex. KRA3 Predictive maintenance Use of condition-based monitoring techniques like vibration analysis, Thermography, EDD, ultrasonic detections etc. to improve machine reliability. KRA4 Breakdown maintenance To carry out the breakdown maintenance in minimum possible time /resources and take necessary corrective actions in the next available opportunity of PM. KRA5 Digitization Installation of sensors in system for real-time monitoring and analysis of physical parameters. To implement the best practices across the industry and interplants. Develop trends, alarms for easy diagnostics. KRA6 Documentation To ensure proper documentation for - machine upgradation, modification, capex investment drawing and -Raise MOC for changes. -ISO related documents like SOPs and SMPs -Risk Assessment of all the maintenance activities -Root Cause analysis or Why- Why analysis KRA7 Capex Planning of short term, midterm capex projects in discussion with department and POET. Initiation of Capex projects with proper back up documents like Quotes, Cost estimates, retirement notes, etc. and follow up with relative departments. Timely completion and Capitalization of the projects. KRA8 Collaboration with central reliability Team and Maintenance planner Ensure timely co-ordination with central reliability team & maintenance planner to adopt best technology and spare to improve machine reliability KRA9 Critical spare management Ensure that, the critical spares required for the machines are listed and maintained in healthy and ready to use condition. In case of non-availability, to take up the same with higher up and make a mitigation plan.
