Agronomist

Job Title: Executive - Agronomist

Location: Padra, Vadodara, Gujarat
Salary: Up to 3.3 LPA + Travel Allowance (TA)
Experience: 0 to 2 years (Freshers with strong core knowledge in Agriculture are welcome)
Joining: Immediate (Within 1 Week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular farm visits to support sourcing and procurement activities.
• Develop strong relationships with farmers and suppliers for consistent produce sourcing.
• Advise farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), crop planning, pest/disease management, and post-harvest practices.
• Monitor crop health, harvesting schedules, and post-harvest handling.
• Support procurement, grading, sorting, and quality assessment at collection centers.
• Ensure product quality as per BigBasket standards.
• Maintain field visit records and submit daily activity reports.
• Identify new sourcing locations and potential growers.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related fields.
• Strong core knowledge in farming techniques, crop production, pest control, and post-harvest handling.
• Familiarity with local crops and farming practices in Gujarat is preferred.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and Gujarati.
• Must be open to fieldwork and frequent travel within Padra and nearby regions.

Additional Details:

• Travel Allowance (TA) will be provided for field visits.
• Immediate joiners (within 1 week) will be given priority.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹330,000.00 per month
