Role Overview

Agriculture Expert

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage

  farmer networks, FPOs, and agri-suppliers

  to ensure consistent, quality raw material supply.
• Innovate in

  organic farming, hydroponics, and sustainable agriculture practices

  relevant to our food products.
• Design and oversee

  agri-supply chain models

  that reduce cost and enhance freshness for our kitchens and kiosks.
• Work with

  nutrition and food innovation teams

  to align crop production with product development needs.
• Identify and implement

  value-added processing methods

  (cleaning, grading, packaging).
• Explore and test

  innovative crops and superfoods

  that align with gut health and wellness.
• Stay updated on

  government schemes, subsidies, and agri-tech solutions

  that can be leveraged.

Requirements

• Degree in

  Agriculture, Agri-Business, Food Science, or related fields

  .
• 3–7 years of experience in

  agriculture, farm management, or agri-supply chains

  (startup/food sector preferred).
• Strong knowledge of

  sustainable farming, food safety, and crop innovation

  .
• Exposure to

  organic certifications, FPO collaborations, or contract farming

  is a plus.
• Ability to

  work with both farmers and business teams

  to align agriculture with food innovation.
• Passionate about

  food, wellness, and impact-driven startups

  .
• Comfortable with

  equity-based founding roles

  .
