Agri Field Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular village visits to engage with farmers and build trust
• Organize farmer meetings, training sessions, and field demonstrations
• Guide farmers on scientific techniques and input usage (seeds, fertilizers, etc.)
• Distribute and monitor agri-input supply chains for contract farmers
• Coordinate with agronomists to provide real-time crop advisory.
• Handle farmer registration and onboarding
• Monitor crop growth, pest/disease issues, and field conditions
• Identify challenges in farming and escalate when necessary
• Conduct soil and irrigation assessments
• Expand cultivated area and farmer base as per target
• Ensure smooth implementation of contract farming activities
• Support agri-commodity collection as per quality and pricing standards
• Maintain detailed farm visit records and crop data
• Submit daily/weekly reports via CRM/apps/Excel
• Collaborate with local agri-input dealers, brokers, vendors, and feed stockers
• Share farmer feedback and field observations
• Identify and onboard vendors related to farming operations

Key Requirements

Qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture) or Diploma in Agriculture

Experience: 1–3 years in agri fieldwork

Must Have: Two-wheeler, Smartphone

Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools

Language: Good communication in Gujarati

Preference: Local candidates from Vadodara

Other Details Job Type: Full-time, Field-Based Travel: 70–80% fieldwork
