Role Overview:

bid and proposal preparation process for Water Infrastructure EPC projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the

  bid and proposal preparation

  process for

  EPC water infrastructure projects

  , including water treatment plants (WTPs), wastewater treatment plants (STPs/ETPs), and water transmission/distribution systems.
• Manage the

  entire tendering process

  from bid preparation to submission, including

  site visits

  ,

  pre-bid meetings

  , and

  client coordination

  .
• Review, analyze, and validate

  technical and commercial documentation

  in line with tender specifications and project requirements.
• Develop

  pricing strategies and cost estimates

  by analyzing market trends, vendor quotations, and project scope to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Coordinate with internal teamsengineering, procurement, finance, and legal—to gather inputs for accurate and compliant bid submissions.
  
• Ensure full

  compliance with tender conditions

  , client specifications, and

  international standards

  (such as ISO, BIS, AWWA, FIDIC).
• Prepare and present

  bid summaries, risk assessments, and management approvals

  for go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain a database of bids, vendor rates, and market benchmarks to support future tendering efficiency.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement in proposal quality, documentation, and bid strategy formulation.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma

  in

  Civil or Mechanical Engineering

  .

• 15–20 years of experience

  in tendering, estimation, and engineering within the

  water infrastructure sector

  .
• Proven track record of

  successfully leading and winning large-scale EPC projects

  in water supply, wastewater, and treatment domains.
• Strong understanding of

  water distribution systems, wastewater collection networks, pump stations, and treatment technologies

  .
• Excellent knowledge of

  contract conditions, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and tendering procedures

  .
• Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  

Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
