We are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanical professional to lead maintenance activities in the Rolling Mill / Blooming Mill department. The role involves ensuring smooth operation and uptime of all mechanical equipment through timely maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment, including stands, gearboxes, roll-changing systems, conveyors, shears, and cooling beds.

Monitor and improve equipment performance and reliability.

Supervise a team of technicians and ensure efficient maintenance execution.

Coordinate with production and electrical/instrumentation teams for smooth mill operation.

Ensure availability of critical spares and maintain stock levels.

Maintain maintenance records, logs, and daily reports.

Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with mechanical safety standards.

Participate in shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and mechanical modifications.

Desired Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of Rolling Mill / Blooming Mill equipment

Hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting and team handling

Exposure to TPM/RCM practices and maintenance systems like SAP/CMMS

Good communication and planning skills
