AGM, Finance (Record to Report)

As an Assistant General Manager, Finance (Record to Report) at GCC, a large manufacturing company based in Gurugram, Haryana, your role will involve overseeing the strategic and operational management of period-end closing and standalone financial reporting for the entity. Your main goal will be to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and alignment with strategic business goals in a complex, capital-intensive steel and power manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Define strategic goals for period-end closings and engage with senior leadership to align processing practices with organizational objectives - Lead initiatives to strategize and execute accurate interbranch, intercompany, and related party transactions - Own the preparation and presentation of audit data packages, ensuring alignment with internal controls and industry-specific regulations - Assess and mitigate financial risks through innovative practices to safeguard assets and enhance stability - Drive the integration of advanced technologies to optimize financial processing systems with ERP and automation features - Coordinate with other functions to align financial reporting and processing strategies enterprise-wide - Communicate complex financial reports to executives ensuring clarity and actionable insights from standalone and financial statements Qualifications/Experience: - 13-17 years of previous experience in Record to Report, accounting, or finance-related field - MBA/CA/CWA along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business administration - Professional certifications in the field of accounts, finance, or R2R are preferable - Expertise in developing and overseeing financial policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management - Ability to lead cross-functional projects and align finance operations with organizational objectives - Knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations - Extensive knowledge and experience in using advanced ERP systems like SAP Hana - Capability in analyzing large data sets to provide strategic insights and decision support - Strong working knowledge of Power BI for visualization and dashboard creation and analytical skills for variance analysis and financial performance reporting.,
