Role & responsibilities

Senior Team-Level Agile Coach

The ideal candidate has deep experience in building high-performing teams, facilitating complex Agile/SAFe ceremonies, influencing senior stakeholders, and enabling sustainable Agile practices within fast-paced environments.

Preferred candidate profile

Advanced Team Coaching

• Provide hands-on Agile coaching to

  multiple cross-functional teams

  .
• Mentor and upskill Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members.
  
• Strengthen Agile discipline through Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
  
• Guide teams through conflict, alignment issues, and maturity progression.
  

SAFe Expertise & PI Planning

• Lead end-to-end

  PI Planning

  preparation, execution, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with RTEs, Product Management, and Architects to ensure alignment.
  
• Facilitate SAFe ceremonies such as

  ART Sync, SoS, Inspect & Adapt

  events.
• Support dependency resolution, risk management (ROAM), and cross-team coordination.
  

Agile Transformation & Leadership Coaching

• Partner with leadership to embed Agile mindset and Lean culture.
  
• Drive Agile transformation roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Conduct Agile maturity assessments and create improvement strategies.
  
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through coaching and facilitation.
  

Process Optimization & Delivery Excellence

• Coach teams on Agile metrics:

  velocity, predictability, cycle time, WIP limits, throughput

  .
• Improve flow, reduce delays, and remove systemic impediments.
  
• Strengthen backlog management, prioritization, and value-driven delivery.
  
• Promote best practices in engineering excellence and DevOps alignment (if applicable).
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1020 years

  of relevant experience in Agile delivery, SAFe, or team coaching roles.
• Proven experience coaching 3+ Agile teams simultaneously.
  
• Strong hands-on knowledge of

  Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

  , and Lean.
• Expertise in leading large-group events such as

  PI Planning

  .
• Excellent skills in facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
  
• Certifications preferred:

  SAFe Agilist (SA), SASM, SPC, PSM/CSM, KMP

  , or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large, complex, or scaled Agile environments.
  
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile engineering practices.
  
• Ability to coach at team, program, and leadership levels.
  
• Strong understanding of flow-based work and system thinking.
