Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop digital consumer experiences using the AEM product suite, including Sites and Assets.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate creative designs into technical specifications.
• Drive innovation by originating new concepts, strategies, and approaches to AEM development.
• Design and implement AEM platform components and reusable frameworks.
• Create and integrate content-driven applications leveraging OSGI services.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards.
• Develop and maintain AEM workflows and step components.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in content management implementations.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party systems with AEM solutions.
  

Requirements

• 6–9 years of professional experience in software development.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in AEM 6.x (Sites, Assets).
• Strong programming experience in Java, J2EE, and JavaScript (5–6 years).
• In-depth knowledge of AEM building blocks: templates, components, dialogs, widgets, content fragments, and experience fragments.
• Expertise in AEM backend development, Sling models, model.json, SPA SDK features, and Content as a Service (CaaS).
• Proficient in AEM core frameworks: OAK repository, CQ platform, Apache Sling, Apache Felix.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AEM Cloud migration or other Adobe Marketing Cloud products (Target, Analytics, Campaign).
• Hands-on experience with Git, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of core web technologies and RESTful web service implementations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
