About the Role: We re not looking for just another copywriter; we need someone with a flair for crafting high-converting, kickass copy that gets results. As an Advertising Copywriter at Teabox, you will craft high-quality, well-researched, and captivating content that aligns with our brand voice and messaging. Working closely with the marketing team, you will craft compelling content that not only informs and entertains but also sells our unique tea experience. Your role will be pivotal in understanding customer behavior, employing first principles, and infusing a sales and marketing flair into your writing. Key Responsibilities: Direct Response Video and UGC Ad Scripts: Develop persuasive, scroll-stopping scripts for performance-focused video ads that drive engagement and conversions. Craft Static Ad Copies: Create compelling copy for static ads across various platforms, ensuring they align with campaign goals and brand voice. Write Copies for Ad Captions, Headlines, and Descriptions: Craft attention-grabbing headlines and descriptions that effectively convey the message and drive engagement. Landing Page Copies: Design persuasive, conversion-oriented landing page content that complements ad campaigns. Email Marketing Copies: Write engaging and high-performing email content for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and audience segmentation. Understand Customer Behavior and Psychology: Use insights into customer behavior and psychology to create content that resonates with our target audience. Implement First Principles Approach: Ensure content aligns with brand values, objectives, and resonates with the audience using a first principles approach. Collaborate with the Marketing Team: Contribute to content strategy and brainstorm ideas that drive sales and engagement. Utilize Storytelling Techniques: Create content that captivates and connects with our audience through effective storytelling. Edit and Proofread Content: Ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines in all content. Stay Abreast of Emerging Trends: Keep up-to-date with content trends and technologies to continuously enhance our offerings. Participate in Content Planning and Strategy Meetings: Align initiatives with overall marketing goals and coordinate with design and multimedia teams to integrate visual elements into content for maximum impact. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Advertising Copywriter , or a similar role (agency background is a plus). Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong focus on selling through words. In-depth understanding of customer behavior, psychology, and a first principles approach. Deep understanding of direct response marketing principles and customer psychology. Experience in writing copies for ad scripts, email campaigns, landing pages, meta ad headlines, and other marketing collaterals. Strong storytelling skills to create engaging narratives that drive brand affinity. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team. A degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with ad copywriting frameworks like AIDA , Problem-Agitate-Solution , FAB , etc. What Will Get You Brownie Points: Past experience as a performance marketing ad copywriter or a similar role in a performance marketing (or marketing) agency or a high-growth stage startup. A strong portfolio of ads that drove measurable performance. Hands-on experience with high-performing ad formats (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).
