Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Utility & Plant Maintenance Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience in utility equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setup. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintaining HVAC systems, compressors, chillers, RO plants, DG sets, and other utilities, with a focus on reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: -
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for utility equipment including:

Chillers, Air Compressors, Diesel Generators (DG)

Air Handling Units (AHU), HVAC Systems
-
RO Water Treatment Plants, Fire Hydrant Systems
-
Ensure compliance with statutory norms (Factory Act), including pressure vessel and hoist testing.

Manage and coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and project execution.

Drive energy-saving initiatives and implement energy efficiency projects in utilities.

Monitor plant engineering KPIs such as Uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).

Identify root causes of major breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Prepare, update, and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) checklists and annual schedules.

Handle spare parts management:

Raise ePRs, track procurement, and ensure timely availability.

Prepare and monitor annual spare parts budget.
-
Ensure adherence to safety systems such as LOTO, machine guarding, and work permit systems (hot work, confined space, height, etc.).

Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, and OSHAS guidelines.
