Role Overview

The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth goals. The role involves counselling students and parents, understanding learner needs, and converting leads into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Counsel students and parents regarding courses, admissions, and enrollment processes
  • Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
  • Drive student admissions and consistently achieve assigned targets
  • Close sales and meet monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during course selection and application process
  • Assist students in completing documentation required for admissions
  • Coordinate efficiently with applicants and parents to ensure timely application processing
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions using CRM tools

Eligibility & Skills Required

  • Ability to empathize with students and parents and build strong relationships
  • Strong inclination to work in a target-driven sales environment
  • Proven experience in converting leads into enrollments/sales
  • Prior experience working with CRM systems
  • Fluency in English and Hindi (mandatory)
  • Strong listening, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in EdTech, higher education admissions, or inside sales is an advantage
  • Goal-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
