Job Description

The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process for prospective students and parents. This role involves counseling parents, handling inquiries, coordinating campus tours, maintaining admission records, and ensuring a smooth admission experience in line with the school’s vision and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle admission-related inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, online) promptly and professionally.
  • Counsel parents and students regarding the curriculum, facilities, teaching methodology, and extracurricular opportunities.
  • Conduct campus tours and orientation sessions for prospective parents and students.
  • Explain the admission process, fee structure, policies, and guidelines clearly.
  • Maintain accurate admission records, inquiry logs, and follow-up systems.
  • Support in organizing admission-related events such as open houses, orientation programs, and school fairs.
  • Coordinate with the academic and admin departments for student onboarding.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly admission reports and share updates with management.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with prospective parents to convert leads into admissions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to promote the school’s reputation.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies, procedures, and ethical standards during the admission process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Master’s degree or equivalent preferred).
  • Prior experience as an Admission Counsellor or in a customer service/relationship management role, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English fluency required, knowledge of other languages is a plus).
  • Strong presentation and counseling skills.
  • Good organizational, record-keeping, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and admission management software (if applicable).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and empathy while interacting with parents and students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
