Job Description

Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Conversion

  • Handle incoming admission inquiries through calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms.
  • Maintain and update CRM/lead management systems regularly.
  • Proactively follow up with leads and nurture them through the admission funnel.
  • Achieve monthly and annual admission targets.

Parent Counselling & Engagement

  • Conduct counselling sessions with prospective parents, explaining the schools value proposition, curriculum, facilities, and USPs.
  • Address queries, concerns, and objections of parents effectively.
  • Build a strong rapport and provide a personalized experience to every parent.

Admission Process & Coordination

  • Assist parents with application forms, documentation, and admission formalities.
  • Coordinate with the academic, administration, and finance teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Organize school tours for prospective parents and students.

Marketing & Outreach Support

  • Support in school events, open houses, and parent orientation programs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for lead-generation campaigns.
  • Represent the school in external events, exhibitions, and fairs when required.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain records of enquiries, conversions, and admission status reports.
  • Track performance against targets and provide weekly/monthly updates to management.
  • Share parent feedback and market insights with the leadership team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing preferred).
  • 25 years of experience in sales, counselling, or admissions (education sector preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and local language.
  • Result-oriented with proven ability to meet targets.
  • Pleasant personality with good presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and lead management systems.
