Admission Counsellor

We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused MBA/PGDM Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable management programs. The counsellor will be responsible for handling inquiries, explaining course offerings, assisting with admissions, and ensuring students choose the right academic and career path.

Key Responsibilities1. Student Counselling

• Provide one-on-one counselling to students regarding MBA/PGDM programs, specializations, career prospects, and eligibility requirements.
• Understand students’ academic background, interests, and goals to suggest the best-fit management programs.
• Explain program structure, curriculum, fees, scholarships, and placement opportunities.

2. Admissions Support

• Guide students through the entire admission process — application, documentation, entrance tests, GD/PI preparation, and final enrolment.
• Follow up with prospective leads via phone, email, WhatsApp, and counselling sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records and track admissions progress.

3. Lead Management & Conversion

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries.
• Convert leads into enrolments by providing timely and effective counselling.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.

4. Career Guidance

• Educate students about industry trends, job roles, placement opportunities, and career pathways after MBA/PGDM.
• Assist students in selecting the right specialization (HR, Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, Operations, etc.).

5. Events & Outreach

• Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and orientation programs.
• Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities and lead generation campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Education/Marketing/Management preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
