An Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding students and parents through the admission process, providing information about courses, colleges, universities, and helping them make informed decisions regarding their education and career paths. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students and parents about academic programs, admission requirements, and career opportunities. Handle walk-ins, phone calls, and online inquiries related to admissions. Guide students through the complete admission process including application forms, documentation, and fee submission. Maintain follow-ups with potential students via calls, emails, or meetings. Organize seminars, workshops, and career guidance sessions. Keep updated with the latest trends in education, universities, and entrance examinations. Maintain student records and prepare regular reports for management. Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets. Required Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to counsel and motivate students. Good presentation and convincing skills. Basic knowledge of education systems and admission processes (domestic/international). Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Problem-solving and customer service orientation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Business, or related fields preferred). Prior experience in counseling, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
