Admission Counsellor

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Admission Counsellor to support prospective students throughout the admission process. This role involves student counseling, application and fee management, scheduling, and ensuring smooth coordination of academic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Guidance: Provide clear information about academic programs, admission requirements, and campus life to students and families.
• Application & Documentation: Assist with application forms, document verification, and maintaining accurate records.
• Scheduling & Slot Allocation: Manage class scheduling, allocate slots, and ensure students are assigned to appropriate programs.
• Attendance Monitoring: Track and monitor student attendance to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Recruitment & Outreach: Participate in education fairs, open houses, and events to attract prospective students.
• Counseling & Support: Conduct interviews and sessions to understand student goals, providing academic and career guidance.
• Follow-up & Fee Procurement: Engage with students for admission follow-ups, track payments, and ensure timely fee collection.
• Reporting & Data Management: Maintain databases, prepare admission reports, and support analytics for better planning.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to achieve enrollment targets and fulfill institutional obligations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask and manage sensitive student data efficiently.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in admissions, counseling, or related roles.
• Language: English (preferred).
