Location: Mundra

Purpose

Head - Technical Training is responsible for identifying technical training needs, developing and executing technical and skill-building programs. This role involves organizing the entire technical training framework Business, managing training infrastructure, and coordinating with knowledge partners and vendors to deliver high-quality training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of employees and stakeholders of PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION Business Unit.

Roles and Responsibilities

Training Program Plan: Devise a comprehensive technical training Plan for PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION, encompassing all aspects of training needs assessment, program development, and delivery to enhance workforce capabilities and meet organizational goals.

Training Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to determine employee technical training needs through various instruments and mapping it with organizational ask based on Business requirements.

Annual Training Calendar: Compile an annual training calendar based on the training requirements provided by Heads of Departments (HODs) and Heads of Sections (HOSs), ensuring all technical training needs are scheduled and addressed. Including plans for certification

Program Execution: Facilitate and execute a mix of in-house and external technical training programs according to the annual plan, coordinating effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Training Material Development: Create and update technical training manuals and handouts for various skill-building courses, ensuring content is relevant, comprehensive, and conducive to learning.

Operational Training: Direct hands-on training sessions for operators and staff, focusing on the proficient operation of equipment, machinery, and cranes to promote operational excellence and safety.

Certification Monitoring: Monitor the certification process for operators, ensuring that all technical personnel receive the necessary certifications upon completion of training.

Simulator based training: VR / AR: Implement simulator-based training using VR/AR technology to provide immersive learning experiences for operators.

Training Facility maintenance: Maintain the training facility with diligence to ensure a safe and functional environment for continuous learning and development.

E-Learning Initiatives: Design and deliver computer-based training modules, leveraging digital platforms to provide flexible, innovative, and accessible learning opportunities for technical staff.

Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development: Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

Education Qualification

Bachelors degree in engineering

Technical Skills

Expertise in PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION technologies such as Project & Construction
