Description
As a Senior Active Directory & DNS Engineer, your primary focus will be on managing and optimizing our identity and access management infrastructure with a specialized emphasis on Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, and PKI management. Your key responsibilities will include: Active Directory & Entra ID Management : Oversee the operational aspects of Active Directory and Entra ID, including design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization in line with our security policies and standards. DNS & Infoblox Management : Manage DNS operations using Infoblox, ensuring robust and reliable DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services. PKI Management : Handle the lifecycle of certificates and the PKI infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation processes. Security & Best Practices : Address security issues within the identity and access management infrastructure, provide recommendations based on best industry practices, and create detailed configuration and installation documentation. Operational Support : Provide Level 3/4 operational support for issues related to Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, and certificate management. Infrastructure Enhancements : Suggest, schedule, and conduct software enhancements, upgrades, and patches. Collaborate with architecture and business units to implement best practices. Process Development : Develop and maintain metrics for continuous improvement, establish routine maintenance procedures, and ensure continuous monitoring in accordance with standard procedures and requirements. Stakeholder : Participate in short- and long-term planning efforts with stakeholders and IT groups, ensuring designs comply with organizational standards and technical requirements for identity and access management. What your background should look like (minimum qualifications) Educational Background : Bachelors degree or technical institute degree/certificate in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Experience : Typically requires 8 or more years of relevant IT work experience. Certifications : Relevant certifications are preferred. Technical Expertise : Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, Infoblox, and PKI management. Familiarity with general IT concepts beyond primary discipline. Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with good analytical skills. Additional skills that are desired Firewall Experience : Experience with firewall management (Palo Alto preferred). Network Load Balancer Experience : Experience with network load balancing (Citrix NetScaler preferred). Wireless Networking Experience : Experience with wireless networking (Aruba preferred). SD-WAN Experience : Familiarity with SD-WAN technology.
